It’s Not This Time of Year Without…

It’s the one thing that has been a part of every Christmas since I can remember.  Even if we are traveling for the holidays, the smell of pine and the beautiful lights brings the Christmas season into our home.

I love the family trip to pick out the tree, choosing the perfect one in our eyes each year. Although, putting the tree in the stand at home is always frustrating!

Other than that moment, our family tree is a treasure. It’s a place for family photos, watching our kids open gifts and a peaceful place to reflect… to be grateful.

Sunset Watch

Photo Friday Theme- black and white

This photo of my daughter was taken watching the sunset on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington.

This was a girl’s trip for us where we visited the camp she works at in her summers and then enjoyed our time!

Flora from Maui

Theme: Saturation

The gorgeous flora on the island of Maui was so saturated with tropical color… I was quite taken with it all.

It’s even lovelier when you do not have to enhance or color correct your photo as it was as colorful in photo as it was in person.

Daily Post Photo Challenge- Jubilant
Jubilant, adjective: showing great joy, satisfaction, or triumph; rejoicing; exultant.

A birthday celebration, a job well done, a trip of a lifetime… all times to feel jubilant.

I find more so, are the everyday moments where we share laughter, toast to friendship and family and catch those precious snapshots of joy!

PS: Many of the “selfie” shots were taken by others as I am not so efficient❤️
